Beware of potential porch pirates

Apparently winter is now here and with that comes warming up our vehicles and leaving them running while we run into a store for something quick. I would advise that if your vehicle does not lock while running to be very careful; even out here we have people that would steal your vehicle. Also, when you are doing all your Christmas shopping, place your packages in the trunk area or keep them hidden from plain view. There is no need to tempt anyone into getting free gifts.

Crunch time

This is my problem with Minnesota Vikings football. I don’t get emotionally involved until the season is half over. I have never been a preseason guy. I don’t listen to the games, don’t watch them, don’t even care about the scores. It seems we never play any of our stars anyway during this time. And then this year when we lost all three of our preseason games, it just justified my lack of commitment. Give me a team that looks like it is going to come out ready to play, and I will show you some support.
