Fe Buschmann, of Melrose, hugged the headstone of her husband, Alfred, Dec. 16 after she placed a wreath in front of it at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Little Falls. Alfred, who served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War, passed away Nov. 2, 2022, and is interred in this cemetery.
