HOLDINGFORD — At an April 13 meeting, the Holdingford Public Schools Board of Education selected four semi-finalists to interview for the district’s superintendent position.
A candidate will replace Superintendent Chris Swenson who is taking a position at Monticello School District July 1.
The semi-finalists are:
— Dave Oehrlein, superintendent and high school principal at Rothsay Public Schools in Rothsay.
— Brad Johnson, superintendent at Renville County West Public Schools in Renville.
— Jona Deavel, principal at Independence Elementary STEM School in Big Lake.
— Corinna Erickson, K–12 principal at Breckenridge Public Schools in Breckenridge.
The semi-finalists were selected from a strong pool of applicants based on criteria established by the school board, as well as input gathered from staff and community stakeholders through the School Pro Competency Inventory. The search process has been facilitated by School Pro K12.
The school board has scheduled first-round interviews for the semi-finalists on Friday, April 17.
Interviews will be conducted as part of a structured process involving multiple stakeholder groups to support a comprehensive evaluation of each candidate’s experience, leadership and alignment with district priorities.
Following the first round, finalists will be selected and invited to participate in a second round of interviews on April 22.
